Week 4

 The team accomplished the following tasks during this week of the project:

The fingerprint sensor system's code was modified to allow it to function as a whole. Prompts were established on the LCD screen such as 'place finger', which appears on the screen after the software is submitted to Arduino. When the right fingerprint or password is registered, the screen displays "recognised", whereas when the incorrect password or fingerprint is inputted, the screen displays "error," and after a second's pause, returns to the input interface.

 In figure 3, it shows the connection part of the circuit which includes the solenoid lock that needed 12V at least to work, the relay module was linked with the AC adapter wire.


The tasks for next week:

The group will test the system next week and build the system's flooring.

Week 5

This was the project's final week, and as previously mentioned in the blog, the product's basic functionality is now accessible. As a result, the team's key tasks this week were as follows: 1- All of the circuits have been completed, and all of the components have been fitted together on a wooden plank to portray the project as a whole. 2- By inserting the correct and incorrect fingers, the project can be tested with the code and library. figure 4: Final circuit 3- All the team members started working on the poster, presentation, and final report which will be submitted the week after the bench inspection day. The project is done at this point, the team is now preparing for the inspection day and the completion of all the required forms.
